It's done. And what a trip it's been.
Who knew back in March that this block lotto would send me down the path it has. And I have a new BFF to boot.
After the crazy month of making, filming, editing and publishing my Economy Block video for my guild's block lotto challenge, can you believe that I actually FORGOT the bazillion blocks I made at home.

Luckily there were plenty of entries. The smart, kind, fun and can-do Elena won the lot.
I explained that there were more to come. And then she had the great idea of working together to make a quilt that would hang at Quilts at the Creek at the end of July.

It took one retreat weekend to put it together...together.

I longarmed it at the Workroom.

Elena bound it. She didn't even asked if turquoise was my favourite colours. She just knew.
And Voila.
I hope to see you at Quilts at the Creek. We have put the quilt up for sale. All proceeds go to the Toronto Modern Quilt Guild programming for 2019.
